Hey! I’m Madison.
I am an Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)* specializing in functional fertility nutrition. I come from a long background of movement, health and wellness. My journey into this field started with my undergraduate degree in Nutrition from Florida State University, which I think I went in to because I wanted to learn how to eat pizza whenever I wanted and still look good - turns out the science is still out on that one (joke).
After completing my undergrad, I began working as a personal trainer and soon transitioned to a Barre Teacher at exhale in Miami (you may be more familiar with their exercise brand: Core Fusion).
While working as a Barre Teacher in Miami, I wanted to expand my health knowledge, so I went back to school and completed a Masters in Nutrition at Florida International University.
Working at exhale is where I began my passion for reproductive and fertility health - it opened the door to working intimately with women in their reproductive years going through natural pregnancies. I became fascinated by the pregnancy process and how lifestyle affected it (probably not a far stretch for my life path considering my mom is a midwife).
At the same time, what also struck my curiosity was how many seemingly healthy women (and men) were struggling to conceive a child and were turning to fertility clinics to help them get pregnant. Outwardly, I was seeing people who were relatively fit and appeared to live a healthy lifestyle (as was the lifestyle of many in Miami and NYC who were coming to a fitness facility). However, they would share their stories with me about trying to conceive for years without success. I kept wanting to know… what is going on?!
My curiosity was a burning fire now that I couldn’t put out – I decided to go back to school – again. At this point, I had moved to New York City while still working for exhale as a teacher and nutritionist. Much to my surprise I ended up getting into Teachers College Columbia University (as I felt I was smart, but not that smart). I completed a Masters of Education in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. I conducted my masters thesis on the role nutrition can play in enhancing the fertility status of men and women. The purpose of my research was to find out how the public perceived and utilized nutrition during their own fertility and family planning journey. It turns out that a majority of the people (my sample size was quite large, about 580 people) felt that food/nutrition does play a role in their ability to conceive a healthy baby. I was very happy to see those results. However, most (about 85%) did not seek out nutrition advice because their fertility clinic and/or providing doctor did not recommend it.
This is the healthcare system we currently live in and abide by - a system that doesn’t help and EMPHATICALLY EMPHASIZE women, men and couples to prep their bodies for a healthy conception. THAT BLOWS MY MIND and INFURIATES ME!!
This has put the fuel in my fire to learn, teach, help, learn, teach and help … so that I can give couples to opportunity to understand how nutrition affects their fertility and the health of their future children. My life’s mission is to give you back the power and key to your health and fertility - so that you have a strong chance of conceiving your family naturally.
I’ve spent the past few years reading, dissecting and turning the research on fertility, pregnancy, and reproductive health into practical and tactical information that can help you achieve your family goals. Now that you’re here, let’s get your journey started!

*The difference between an RDN and a “Nutritionist” is an RDN must complete an undergraduate and graduate degree and attend a 1 year accredited internship program before being credentialed, RDN. A “Nutritionist” is someone who decides to call themselves a nutritionist - and they may or may not have legitimate education and training in the field and they may or may not be able to help you in a proper manner.
